Funding opportunities

We explicitly encourage small political groups and associations without their own resources to contact us – we can surely find a way to enable the workshop!

At the same time, there are several possibilities to get specific awareness workshops or consultations funded. The following list is constantly growing. Let us know if you are aware of other points of contact.

Permanent funding agencies

  • Amadeu Antonio Foundation: The Amadeu Antonio Foundation supports small projects that engage against right-wing extremism, racism, and antisemitism or focus on preserving democratic culture and are aimed at concrete impact.

  • Polylux: Polylux funds projects in rural areas in the East

  • Sturas from universities: Often you can apply for funds for workshops at local universities through the Stura

  • Municipal funding pots at city and equal opportunities office: Often there are possibilities to have small projects funded at the municipal level. Check out their website!

  • Aktion Mensch: Funding for more togetherness, participation, and involvement

  • abriporta Foundation: Initiative funding up to €2,000 (CURRENTLY SUSPENDED)

  • Urbis Foundation: Funding up to €5,000

  • Hans-Böckler-Foundation Solifonds: Up to €10,000, applications possible twice a year

  • GLS Trust

  • Aktion Mensch: "Make a statement! For more respect and diversity" - funding up to €7,500

  • Cultural Office Saxony: Action fund for youth in Saxony

  • Fund for Socioculture: Among other things, socio-cultural project plans, projects by people under 25 years old, and processes of organizational development can be applied for

  • City of Leipzig: Specialized funding guidelines for strengthening democratic education, promoting civil society participation, and social cohesion
